Bartow, Florida – On Tuesday, January 5, 2016, Bartow Police Department Detective Bureau began a criminal investigation on a suspect allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a minor female. The suspect, 50 year old Armando Santiago, was identified and probable cause was found that Santiago had engaged in a sexual relationship with the victim on four separate occasions. Further investigation revealed that Santiago was a former manager and supervisor of the victim, while both were employed at McDonalds.
On January 8, 2016, the Santiago was arrested and charged with four counts of Unlawful Sexual Activity with a Minor and booked into the Polk County Jail.
