On Monday, November 18th, 37-year old David Grafals and 18-year old Isaiah Giuliano (both of Winter Haven) were arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office
At around 7:54 pm, a Deputy Nicely was in the area of US 17 near Cypress Gardens Boulevard in Winter Haven, when he noticed a black Dodge Challenger and a black Ford Mustang racing, and weaving through traffic.
Deputy Nicely performed a traffic stop on both vehicles at US 17 and Lake Shipp Drive, and both drivers did say they were sorry for driving the way the were. So at least there is that.
David and Isaiah were arrested and driven to the Polk County Jail at an appropriate speed and they were each charged with reckless driving and racing.
