A vehicle crash on Cypress Gardens Blvd in front of TD bank has shut down westbound lanes temporarily. Expect delays and find alternate routes at this time.
The 911 call for the crash came in just before 2:00 p.m.
Roadway still closed at time of publication.
The reported vehicles involved are a darker grey car and a blue suv.
Polk County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Nathaniel Gale confirmed they had one trauma alert patient transported via helicopter.
