City of Winter Haven:
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no solid waste collection on Monday, September 1st.
Collection services will be adjusted as follows:
Garbage Collection
- Monday routes → collected Tuesday
- Tuesday routes → collected Wednesday
- Thursday & Friday routes → Normal service
Recycling Collection
- Place your recycling cart at the curb alongside your garbage cart.
- Recycling collection may run 1 day behind schedule (e.g., Monday → Tuesday, Tuesday → Wednesday, etc.).
- Please leave carts at the curb as normal—while we anticipate delays, crews may also be ahead of schedule.
Debris Collection (Yard Waste)
- Delayed by 1 day for the entire week.
Bulk Collection
- No bulk collection during holiday week.
Commercial Collection
- Monday commercial customers → collected Tuesday (unless you have 6-day-a-week service).
