Dewberry Engineers was awarded a $1.4 million contract to provide professional engineering services to the Circle B Bar Reserve. Some of Circle B’s trails – in particular, Alligator Alley – suffered damage during Hurricane Ian. Dewberry will develop a plan to restore Circle B to pre-hurricane conditions or better. The plan will also enhance the wetland treatment system’s function. Polk County intends to seek financial assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
