Lake Wales, Florida – The Daily Ridge began getting messages and calls shortly after 11am Thursday morning regarding an incident in East Lake Wales.
According to Brian Bruchey, public information officer, with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office a person at a residence on Red Oak Ct., in Country Oaks Community has been severely injured. That person has been transported to a local hospital for care. Details at this time are not available as the incident is under investigation.
We are told by readers that Red Oak Ct. is currently blocked off to through traffic.
