On 6/24/24 at approximately 4:17 p.m. PCFR was dispatched to NEWCOME RD & WEST LAKE WALES ALTURAS RD (Bartow), in reference to a commercial vehicle fire involving a tractor-trailer.
Upon PCFRs arrival, at approximately 4:33 crews were able to confirm that the tractor-trailer did not have any cargo onboard or patients inside. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and the call was cleared at 5:36 p.m.
No injuries were reported. No patients were transported and the cause of the fire is unknown.
