Road closure in Lake Hamilton:
A weeklong sewer extension project previously scheduled to close Lake Hatchineha Road just east of Scenic Highway (SR 17) on September 26 has been rescheduled to start Tuesday morning, October 10, with an expedited reopening no later than Friday afternoon, October 13. Traffic will be briefly detoured to Water Tank Road and Detour Road to bypass the work zone.
Motorists should drive carefully, be alert to crews and equipment and follow detour signs. Minor delays are possible, especially during peak-hour travel times.
