Roy L Pearce, Sr
September 17th, 1944 – March 23rd, 2026
Roy L. Pearce Sr. went to be with Jesus on March 23, 2026, at the age of 81. Roy had two siblings, Carol Jean O’Brian and Edward L. Pearce (deceased). Roy met the love of his life, Martha Ware, in 1961. They married in September of 1963 and built a beautiful life together, raising three children: Sandra L. Pearce Woodall, Roy L. “Lee” Pearce Jr., and Sheri L. Pearce. He deeply loved and cherished his many grandchildren and extended family. Roy began working in a bakery at the age of 16. At just 20, He and Martha purchased the business and renamed it Roy’s Bakery, located on West Central Avenue in Winter Haven. Together, they faithfully owned and operated it for 36 years before retiring, creating not only a successful business but a lasting legacy in their community. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Roy held an unwavering faith in the Lord. He found great joy in serving alongside Martha at Heartland Church, where their shared faith touched many lives. Rest in peace, Poppy. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you, through the countless memories, laughter, and love you gave so freely.
Visitation and funeral service will be March 27, 2026 starting at 10:30 am at 207 Burns Lane, Winter Haven.
