Irene G. Burke, 78, of Lake Wales, FL passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Health.
Born September 16, 1947, in Hornu, Belgium, She moved to the area in 1987 from Bangor Maine. She worked as a technician for Environ Electronics in Haines City and was of the Catholic faith.
Irene is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Paul E. Burke, Sr.; two sons, Paul E. Burke, Jr. of Haines City, FL and Kevin Burke of Haines City, FL; Five siblings, and Two grandchildren, Kameryn and Karsyn Burke’
The family received friends Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.
Funeral Services were held Friday, April 10, 2026, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
