Lake Wales, FL \u2013 <\/strong>Lake Wales Medical Center is starting the year with a focus on heart health, as the hospital\u2019s Healthy Woman program hosts \u201cBe Sweet to Your Heart,\u201d on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. at the hospital.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThis program offers a lot of fun, interactive learning,\u201d said Maryemma Bachelder, Director of Marketing at Healthy Woman coordinator for the hospital. \u201cOur attendees will spend the first hour visiting a variety of Interactive Learning Stations, where they\u2019ll learn and experience various heart-healthy exercises, eating plans, CPR, and lots more. We\u2019ll also have some health screenings, and information from a variety of area physicians and cardiologists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the time with the Interactive Learning Stations, attendees will hear from keynote speaker Dr. Carolyn D. Pass, who will share information on the numbers that matter most for your heart health.<\/p>\n

Light, heart-healthy snacks will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. The event is free, but reservations are required.
