Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office will be teaming up with 10 Tampa Bay and Feeding Tampa Bay this year to participate in the Cereal for Summer campaign. We are asking for community help in donating new cereal boxes. Citizens can bring their cereal donations to the lobby of any of our district offices as well as in the lobby of the Sheriff\u2019s Operation Center and jails. Feeding Tampa Bay feeds kids in 10 surrounding counties, which includes Polk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s why this is so important\u2026
1 in 4 children in our area do not know where their next meal will come from. This issue is especially critical now, due to rising prices. Many children face hunger over the summer when they are not guaranteed free or reduced meals that they would usually receive at school. Students and families need our support to nourish these young minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All donations will be accepted until April 30th at 9:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
