Lawanda Price, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into rest on August 27, 2024 at the age of 75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born on August 15, 1949, Lawanda graduated from Winter Haven High School, then began a 27 year career as a cosmetologist. In the latter part of her career, Lawanda, alongside her late husband, transitioned into the transportation industry and together owned Price Transport for another 22 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of her careers, Lawanda found joy in being out in the water boating and fishing and she also had a love for cooking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawanda is survived by her son, Kevin Beard (Erika Persson), grandson Keller Beard, and step-daughters Carmen Hawer and Candy Smith (Tracy). She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyce Elwin (D.E.) Price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawanda\u2019s legacy of love, resilience, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
