The City of Winter Haven invites the community to celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Winter Haven Recreation & Cultural Center (WHRCC). The event will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 9:30 A.M. at 801 M.L.K. Blvd NE, with parking available via 8th Street NE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This $21 million redevelopment represents a significant investment in the community, delivering a state-of-the-art, multi-use facility designed to enrich the lives of Winter Haven residents for generations to come. Planned amenities include a double gymnasium, fitness center, library\/technology area, swimming pool with zero-depth entry, splash pad, and much more. The 37,616-square-foot facility will provide modern, accessible spaces to meet the evolving needs of residents of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
