Birdwatchers will enjoy sightings of hawks, owls, wild turkeys, woodpeckers, warblers, spoonbills, and seasonal migratory species. Gopher tortoises and eastern indigo snakes also inhabit the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Rated as a moderate trail, Panther Point features uneven terrain and no mid-route exits, so visitors are encouraged to pace themselves and allow time for the return trip. Mile markers help track progress.
