Community members will gather at Central Park in downtown Winter Haven on Friday, March 13, for the annual Relay For Life of <\/a>Polk County, an evening dedicated to honoring cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and raising awareness in the fight against cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event begins with a Survivor Dinner at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Opening Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Community members, supporters, and teams will come together throughout the evening to recognize those impacted by cancer and show support for ongoing research and advocacy efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRelay For Life is more than a walk \u2013 it\u2019s a chance to come together in your local community to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against every cancer as we come together for every life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relay For Life events are held in communities around the world and serve as both a fundraiser and a symbol of hope for those affected by cancer.
