Haines City Fire Department- Haines City firefighters responded to an early morning structure fire. Around 12:30 am on July 30, 2024, firefighters from A shift responded to the blaze in the 400 block of Barlyn Avenue. Upon arrival of the Ronda Ridge community, firefighters noticed smoke and flames from a bedroom window. Firefighters confined the fire within minutes and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes. The occupants evacuated after calling 911 and no one was injured. The state Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
