Dorothy (Dort) M. Yackley
Dorothy was born October 14, 1948, in Moline, IL… She was the daughter of Kenneth and Lola Schoeder Evans. Dorothy was united in marriage to Martin E. Yackley on August 21, 1976. Dorothy retired after 30 years from the US Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. Dorothy was a member of the Living Rock Community Church in Winter Haven, FL… Dorothy enjoyed traveling, cooking, eating out, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband Martin Yackley, Son Richard Blue Sr. (Stacey) Blue of Rock Island, IL., Daughter Rita Krause of Kewanee, IL., two grandchildren Richard Jr. Blue and Ashlee Blue and Six great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.
Services will be held at a later date.
