Auburndale firefighters bravely rescued a kitten trapped in a storm drain filled with nearly three feet of water and debris.
Acting swiftly, the team worked to safely free the frightened animal before conditions worsened.
Thanks to their quick response and dedication, the kitten is now safe and recovering well.
In a heartwarming twist, one of the off-duty firefighters involved in the rescue has adopted the kitten, giving it a loving forever home.
