Additional parking is coming to the Chain of Lakes Complex in Winter Haven thanks to an agreement approved by the Polk County Board of County Commissioners on Dec. 2.
The joint agreement between the county and the City of Winter Haven will fund renovations to provide additional parking for Chain of Lakes Complex visitors. The county will contribute $600,000 and the City of Winter Haven contribute $600,209 to support the project.
