The annual 7 Rivers Water Festival will return to Winter Haven on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Now celebrating more than a decade of promoting the protection of water resources in the Polk County region, the free community event is being held for the 11th consecutive year.
The festival is presented by the City of Winter Haven, Polk County Utilities, and the City of Lakeland.
This year’s event will feature a cardboard boat race, where participants design and race boats made entirely from cardboard, along with a performance from the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team. To register for the cardboard boat race, visit https://ow.ly/eycE50Yp5bk.
The festival aims to celebrate and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the region’s waterways while providing family-friendly activities for the community.
Participation in the cardboard boat race is open to the public, and attendees can also follow event updates on the festival’s official event page: https://ow.ly/kCjW50Yp5bi.
