Patsy Ann Powell

Patsy Ann Powell, 80, a lifelong resident of Eagle Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. She was born on May 23, 1945, in Port St. Joe, Florida, and moved to Eagle Lake in 1950, where she built a life centered on love and family.
Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who took great pride in caring for those she loved. She had a passion for athletics and was a loyal fan of the Florida Gators. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures – fishing, spending time outdoors, cooking, and, most of all, being a grandmother. Known for her sweet and kind nature, Patsy left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Bodiford Gardner; her son, Robert Wesley Moore; and her siblings, Harold, Jimmie, Wesley, and Ronnie Whitfield. Patsy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bobby Powell; her daughter, Lamona Ann Rivera; her grandchildren, Nichole Moore, Russell Moore (Taylor), Alyssa Rivera, Mallory Rivera, and Jonathan Rivera; and her great-grandchildren, Latoya Monday, Ray Monday, Avery Monday, and Josiah Williams.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., both at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Patsy will be laid to rest at the Church of Christ Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Florida.
