At tonight’s City Commission Meeting, the City Commission proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month!
Parks and Recreation is an integral part of our community. The City of Auburndale is blessed with many parks including, but not limited to, the Downtown City Park, Earl Wright Park, and Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. Parks and Recreation promotes health and wellness, time spent in nature, encourages physical activities, and ensures the ecological beauty of our community.
Throughout the month of July, the City celebrates Parks and Recreation Month by hosting Timeout Tuesdays.
Thank you to all of the Parks and Recreation personnel for the hard work and dedication they demonstrate daily to make our community the best place to work and play. You are truly appreciated!
