Lake Wales, Florida – Brian Lacey from the Polk County Fire Rescue advised that the PCFR responded to a residential structure fire at 9027 Temple Dr in the Nalcrest area. Call came in at 4:36pm, first on scene arrived at 4:51pm, declared under control at 5:36pm, and PCFR is still currently on scene. Structure was a single wide mobile home and declared a total loss. PCFR responded with 2 engine units, 1 water truck, 1 air truck, 1 battalion chief and 1 medical chief, along with 2 medical units. medic units transported one patient to Lake Wales hospital. Red Cross was contacted. 1 adult male and 1 adult female were displaced as a result of the fire.
