June 13, 2024 – US National Weather Service of Tampa Bay Florida announced this morning that Winter Haven Airport set a record rainfall amount yesterday, June 12, 2024.
There was a recorded 2.90 inches of rain at Winter Haven Airport. This beats the last record that was set back in 2006 of 2.72 inches.
Records for Winter Haven date back to 1941.
More rain is expected today, though the greatest chances of rain are in southwest Florida.
