Obituary for James Ernest Brown, Sr.
James Ernest Brown, Sr., 81, of Lake Wales, FL passed away on Sunday, June 30. 2024 at Winter Haven Hospital.
Born May 1, 1943, in Washington, DC he lived in the Haines City/Davenport area for many years before moving to Lake Wales 3 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Bass club and loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kitty; a son James E. Brown, Jr.; three daughters, Tammy Brown, Peggy Brown and Mary Brown; two brothers, Richard and David; a sister, Doris; ten grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
