Young Man Becomes Professional Full-Time Firefighter in Auburndale

Firefighter Robinson was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. At the age of 17, he relocated with his family to the Auburndale area in search of better weather and better opportunities. He graduated from Auburndale High School and worked at Chick-Fil-A before joining the Auburndale Fire Department (AFD) as an Extra Help Fire Recruit. During this time, he gained valuable experience in the fire service while completing his required education.

Firefighter Robinson said he has always had a desire to be in a career where he gets to help people and work with his hands. Now that he has finished his education, he has been assigned to A-Shift at AFD as a professional full-time firefighter with the City of Auburndale. Please join us in welcoming Firefighter Robinson to the team!
