On November 19, 2024 around 3:25 p.m., Polk County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire located on 2nd Street SE in unincorporated Lakeland.
Upon arrival, PCFR crews encountered heavy flames. They began working to gain control of the fire and prevent damage to any of the surrounding residences.
No injuries were reported and no patients were transported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
