A 32-year-old Winter Haven man was arrested for DUI after a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed him drive a Ford Mustang over a concrete median in the middle of the roadway.

According to Sheriff Grady Judd, deputies stopped Jacob Coley and determined he was impaired. Coley later provided breath samples that measured .26, more than three times the legal limit.

Sheriff Judd remarked, “He was so drunk he couldn’t hit the ground with his hat… He was D-R-U-N-K.”

Following the investigation, Coley was arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail on DUI charges.

Thankfully he didn’t injure himself or others during this ordeal.
