On July 15, during the late afternoon hours, a dump truck was involved in a crash in Lake Alfred, which resulted in the dump truck overturning.
The crash occured on HWY 17 right near Lake Haines in Lake Alfred right by Friendly R.V. Park.
We reached out to Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Polk Country Fire Rescue Public Information Officers for further details and were advised that no patients were transported from the crash scene.
With there being no reported serious injuries or transports, this is all of the information that we have available regarding the crash.
