James “Jim” Craig Baker
August 11th, 1954 – July 27th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Craig Baker, age 70, on July 27th, 2025, in Kissimmee FL, after an 18-year battle with cancer. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Born on August 11th, 1954, in Elkhorn Wisconsin. The son of Calvin and Joyce Baker. Jim enjoyed always keeping busy even after retirement, fishing, eating good food “especially sweets”, NASCAR and classic rock.
Jim is survived by his wife Virginia Baker, son James Baker, stepchildren Jessy, Robert, and Genny, his sister Vickie Ryan, his cherished grandsons Jason and Grayson, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Jim will be remembered for his hard work, sense of humor, and endless dedication to his family, friends and all that he strove to accomplish in life.
A memorial service to honor Jim’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 2nd at Grace Lutheran Church 327 Avenue C SE, Winter Haven, FL. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating a life well-lived and remembering a man who built a legacy of hard work, laughter, love, and many cherished memories.
