October 31st, 1938 – February 3rd, 2026

“Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.” – John 16:22

Thomas Anastasio SR, a military medic veteran and beloved father by his children family and friends was born October 31st, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York and passed away February 3rd shortly after he was taken off a ventilator, he fought fiercely until the end with strength and courage. Stubborn, but a true Italian from the beginning to the end.  

Thomas is survived by his wife, Cheryl Anastasio, his son Anthony Anastasio, his daughter Carrie Bayuk, and his many other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
