Surveillance Alert Leads to Arrest of Three Juveniles in Attempted Vehicle Burglaries

The following is a press release by WHPD:

“Three juveniles have been arrested for attempted vehicle burglary after a surveillance camera system alerted a resident to someone in the driveway.

On March 15, 2026 at approximately 1:37 a.m., a 9-1-1 call was received that a resident’s camera system alerted him to someone in the driveway of his Fish Hawk Dr. home. He immediately looked at the footage and saw three subjects in the driveway pulling on doorhandle of his two vehicles.

Officers arrived shortly after and believed the subjects to still be in the area. Officers canvassed the area and learned that a neighbor of the caller had seen the same subjects in the yard at 200 Fish Hawk Dr around midnight.

Officers made contact with the resident at the location and learned that the female inside of the residence has two juvenile sons who had left the residence without permission. She was shown video from the home surveillance and stated that she believed they could be her sons.

While continuing to patrol the neighborhood, two juveniles were observed coming out of a wooded area walking in the direction of 200 Fish Hawk Dr.When officers approached the two, they were observed wearing the same clothing as seen in the video. The two were detained and identified as 16 year-old Kahlil White (DOB 12-15-09) and 14 year-old Jahlil White (DOB 8-26-11). Shortly after, a third subject, identified as 17 year-old Riley Isaac Tucker (DOB 1-7-09) was seen coming out of the same area as the White brothers.  Tucker was identified as the third subject in the video.

The video showed Jahlil carrying a backpack and the same backpack was located in the wooded area along with a screwdriver, multiple phone chargers, a mask and a pair of blue gloves.

Kahlil White, Jahlil White and Riley Tucker were all transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center and charged with Attempted Burglary of Conveyance, Possession of Burglary Tools With Intent to Use, Wearing a Mask While Committing a Criminal Offense and Loitering & Prowling.”
