Roy Gayton Johnson, age 82, of Eagle Lake, Florida entered into rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1943 in Cochran, Georgia.
After to moving to Florida, Gayton spent his career working in the mine industry in Fort Meade until his retirement.
He is survived by his sons Timothy Johnson (Sarah) and Roy Johnson; sisters Laurine Fletcher, Merie Fletcher, Vicki Holt (Kermit), and Linda Bishop, as well as his grandchildren.
A graveside service for Roy was held August 18, 2025 at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 W Derby Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823.
