AThe City of Winter Haven is reminding residents that free irrigation evaluations are available to help conserve water and improve the efficiency of home irrigation systems.
Through the City’s Water Conservation Program, a Water Conservation Specialist can visit residents’ homes to evaluate their irrigation systems, ensure timers are set according to the City’s watering schedule, and answer questions about proper irrigation practices.
The free service is designed to help homeowners reduce unnecessary water usage, avoid overwatering, and potentially lower utility costs while keeping lawns and landscaping healthy.
