On November 20, 2024 at 6:41 a.m., Polk County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a traffic collision reported at 28995 Hwy 27 in Dundee.
Upon first responders’ arrival at 6:49 a.m., Polk County Fire Rescue units arrived on scene and one patient was transported via helicopter, according to Katelyn Hoverkamp, PCFR Public Information Officer.
There were no additional injuries reported or patients transported.
Traffic was reportedly backed up for a period of time this morning for the helicopter to make its landing and transport the patient.
