A Chevy pickup truck reported stolen from a Winter Haven residence on Sunday, November 23rd, was later recovered on a property in Auburndale, where two women were allegedly found inside the vehicle.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located the stolen truck with 26-year-old Madeline Hope Weeks of Dundee allegedly behind the wheel and 29-year-old Savannah Cheyenne Foster of Polk City allegedly in the passenger seat.
Deputies also allegedly found three syringes containing methamphetamine. One syringe was reportedly found on Foster’s lap, while the other two were next to Weeks inside the truck.
Weeks allegedly told deputies she had been given the truck key by a man who was not the owner. When deputies asked Foster for her account of what happened, she replied only, “There’s nothing to tell.”
Both women were arrested and transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center.
Madeline Weeks was charged with:
• Grand Theft Motor Vehicle
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Savannah Foster was charged with:
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The stolen truck was returned to its rightful owner.
