On November 9, 2024 Polk County Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding a fire at County Line Road & Shepherd Road in Lakeland.
The call came in around 7:17 p.m. and crews were dispatched at 7:20 p.m. Upon the crews’ arrival at 7:26 p.m., they found a large burn pile. There was water on the on fire at 7:28 p.m., and thanks to the fast working crews, the fire was under control at 7:37 p.m.
The Northbound lane of County Line Road was shut down for a period of time. Roadways are now back open. The scene was cleared at 8:13 p.m.
There were no injuries reported.
