Residents looking for a creative and interactive way to spend their day are invited to attend the Not Your Average Art Festival on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lake Blue Park. Admission to the event is free.
Hosted by Polk County Parks and Recreation, the festival promises a fun and colorful experience for all ages, featuring a wide variety of art mediums and hands-on activities. Attendees can tap into their artistic side with interactive attractions like a graffiti wall, chalk wall, spin art stations and even a pottery workshop. Live art demonstrations will also give visitors a chance to see creativity in action.
